Lance is the same shaper from the 70's that shaped all of the Wave Tools boards. He started shaping in
1969. Lance made originally made Hot Lip Surfboards. In the early 80's hHis neon boards dotted the coast for miles spilling
out from the Eco Beach scene. He was shaping there in the early 80's when an aggressive surfing style began to change
the way people rode waves. He taught guys like Mike Estrada to shape. His son Richie Collins started shaping because of his
father. He watched him since he was a little boy and wanted to be just like him. Richie shaped most of the boards he rode
on the World Surfing Tour.
